Full Description
{1} Hotel and public house. No. 104 is C17, timber-framed with applied timber to front, stuccoed ground floor. No. 106 is early C19 and stuccoed. Old plain-tile roof to No. 106, C20 plain-tiles to No. 104. 2 storeys and attic; 8-window range. No. 104 has 3 canted bay windows to ground floor, C20 door to left and between two bays to right of centre. A moulded wood cornice and fascia board extends over doors and bays. 3-light leaded casement windows to first floor and two gabled roof dormers. No. 106 has 12-pane sash windows to ground floor, and to first floor left and right of centre, flanked by narrow 8-pane sashes. Plinth, moulded string course to first floor, pilastered strips to centre and ends of first floor, attic floor storey band, blank attic panels, moulded cornice and plain stone-coped parapet. Interior has chamfered spine beams.
{3} Public house and hotel - comprises two separate buildings - both listed as one. Part of the building is 17th century in origin, the other is 19th century. The former is part timber framed with dormer windows. The frontage has been rendered over. Film 4, photo 12.6
