Description

House. Early C17 and C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 2-unit, now 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. Irregular 4-window range of C19 casements under wood lintels. C20 casement to ground floor left of centre. C20 lean-to porch to right of centre. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ridge and ends. Evidence of earlier roof line to front elevation and right gable. C20 glazed porch to rear. Interior: centre room and kitchen to right has spine and wall beams. Originally probably house and attached farm building, subdivided in C19 to form 2 dwellings. (RCHM: An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire: p175)
