Description

Bridge over ornamental canal. Mid/late C18 with reused C17 balustrade. Limestone ashlar. 3 shallow segmental arches, with low cutwaters, flanked by horizontally rusticated approaches. 5 bay parapets of square moulded balusters with a panelled pier between each bay. Similar balusters appear in a drawing of the east prospect of Deene Hall c.1746 by William Brasier.
