Description

Shown as Yarwell Manor House on Ordnance Survey map. Farmhouse. Late C18 and mid C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 5-window range of C19 and C20 casements under wood lintels. C20 door to right of centre is also under wood lintel. Large ashlar quoins. Ashlar gable parapets and remains of ashlar stacks at ridge and end. Mid C19 wing to rear. Interior not inspected but noted as having 2 open fireplaces with bressumers and ceiling beams. C19 room, to rear, is noted as having elliptically headed recesses flanking the fireplace.
