Description
Dovecote, now offices. Probably late C17, altered late C19. Regular coursed limestone with pantile roof. Rectangular plan, now 2 storeys. 2-window range at ground floor of C19 two-light stone mullion windows. Central plank door in moulded stone surround. Ashlar gable parapets and ashlar stack at end. Rear elevation has 2-window range of late C19/C20 casement windows. Interior: has exposed nesting boxes on staircase. Open fireplace with bressumer may have been reset in late C19. Probably dovecote to Manor House and Upper Manor (q.v.) or earlier house, now demolished.
