Description

Farmhouse, now house. c.1741 for Rev. Eyre-Whalby. Squared coursed lias with thatch roof. Originally probably 3-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. 3-window range of C20 casements in original openings under gauged stone arches. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ends. Left gable has partially legible C18 datestone. Barn with thatch roof attached to right. (Ecton: Bertram Knight n.d.).
