Description

1896, by Ninian Comper. Built as the workhouse chapel, a severe building in coursed stone with stone slate roof. Gable with finial to road with narrow lancet window of 3 lights below blank niche with cusped head in gable. Narrow buttresses to quoins. 5 windows to nave with dripmoulds in bays formed by buttresses. Plain bell cote to west end, which has plain arched doorway under window with 2 lancet lights. The Main Building and Hospital Chapel form a group.
