Description
Shown as Top Lodge on Ordnance Survey map. Lodge house. Mid C19 for Rockingham Cottage estate. Squared coursed ironstone with limestone ashlar dressings and Colleyweston slate roof. T-shape plan. Single storey with attic. Main front of 2-window range. Bay to left breaks forward as gabled cross wing. 2- and 3-light stone mullion windows with half dormer to right and canted stone bay to left. Ashlar gable parapets and ball finials and ashlar stacks with octagonal flues to ridge and end. Elevati n to left has stone gabled porch with plaque to left having Watson family arms. Rear elevation is similar.
