Full Description
{1} Shown as Top Lodge on Ordnance Survey map. Lodge house. Mid C19th for Rockingham Estate. Squared coursed ironstone with limestone ashlar dressings and Collyweston slate roof. T-shape plan. Single storey with attic. Main front of 2-window range. Bay to left breaks forward as gabled cross wing. 2- and 3-light stone mullion windows with half dormer to right and canted stone bay to left. Ashlar gable parapets and ball finials and ashlar stacks with octagonal flues to ridge and end. Elevation to left has stone gabled porch with plaque to left having Watson family arms. Rear elevation is similar.
