Description

Ice house. Probably early C19. Limestone ashlar and brick. Circular plan. Earth mound with square-head entrance flanked by ashlar retaining walls. Later opening in side wall. Interior has circular brick lined chamber with domed roof. (RCHM: An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire: p114)
