A 19th century icehouse built on the grounds of Laxton Hall. Summary from record MNN172580: A 19th century icehouse built on the grounds of Laxton Hall.

{1} Ice house. Probably early C19. Limestone ashlar and brick. Circular plan. Earth mound with square-head entrance flanked by ashlar retaining walls. Later opening in side wall. Interior has circular brick lined chamber with domed roof.

{3} Approached by vaulted tunnel of brick, with ashlar entrance. The domed ice-chamber is brick-lined. The structure, probably early C19th, is partly decayed.
