Description
Statue group. Stone. C17. Representing Aeneas carrying his father Anchises out of Troy, accompanied by his son Ascarius on tall pedestal with plinth, cornice, moulded panels and semi-circular ends decorated with swags. Probably originally sited at Boughton House, Weekley C.P. (q.v.) and brought here in C19.
