Description

Farmhouse. Mid C18 and early and mid C19. Squared coursed limestone with thatch roof. Originally 3 unit plan, now L-shape. 2 storeys. Main front is an irregular 3-window range of sash windows, with glazing bars, under wood lintels. Central 6-panel door under thatched hood. Ashlar gable parapet to left and ashlar end stack with moulded cornice. C19 lean-to, to right, has catslide roof. Elevation to right has an irregular 4-window range of casements, some with leaded lights, under flat stone arches. C20 doors to centre and far left, under similar heads, and blocked door to right. Rebuilt brick gable parapet to right. Rear elevation of this range has C20 windows and a rebuilt brick lateral stack. Window to first floor far right has a cheese room notice. Interior: room to left of entrance has stop-chamfered spine beam, probably reused. Wide C19 staircase between walls, late C18/early C19 chamfered spine beams in other rooms.
