Description

Farmhouse. C17 origins, mainly mid C18. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar facade. T-shape plan. 2 storeys, part with attic. Main front is a mid C18 3-window range of C20 cross casements under wood lintels, some renewed. Central C20 door also under wood lintel. Hipped roof dormers, ashlar gable parapets and rebuilt brick stacks at ends. Rear wing is C17 with 2 ovolo-moulded stone mullion windows and a moulded door surround. Chamfered plinth and ashlar gable parapet. Interior noted as being re odelled mid C20 but retaining spine beams. (RCHM: An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire: p163)
