Description

House. Late C16 and mid C19, restored C20. Box timber frame with brick and rendered infill panels and thatch roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys. Main front of 2-window range of C20 casements, some exposed braces, brick stack at ridge. Rear wing similar is probably mid C17. Elevation of left of main front has C20 door and C17 window with diagonal wood mullions. Some rendered panels may retain wattle and daub infill. Interior not inspected but 2 bays abutting road may be a late C16 open hall with later central stack.
