Summary

Detached house, late 16th century and mid 19th century, restored late 20th century. It has a box timber frame with brick and render infill and a thatch room. It has a L-shaped plan and is two storeys high. To the front there a two window range of modern casement windows and some exposed braces. The rear wing is probably mid 17th century. The elevation to the left has a 17th century window with diagonal wood mullions.

Full Description

{1} House. Late C16 and mid C19, restored C20. Box timber frame with brick and rendered infill panels and thatch roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys. Main front of 2-window range of C20 casements, some exposed braces, brick stack at ridge. Rear wing similar is probably mid C17. Elevation of left of main front has C20 door and C17 window with diagonal wood mullions. Some rendered panels may retain wattle and daub infill. Interior not inspected but 2 bays abutting road may be a late C16 open hall with later central stack.
