Description

Bridge. Early C19, probably for Lord Lilford. Limestone ashlar. Single shallow arch with keyblock. Parapet has square balusters linked by arches. Raised band below parapet. Earlier bridge built by Elmes family of Lilford Hall (q.v.), recorded as having 10 arches. (Bridges, J., The History and Antiquities of Northamptonshire, Vol.2, p.241).
