Full Description

{1} Bridge. Early C19, probably for Lord Lilford. Limestone ashlar. Single shallow arch with keyblock. Parapet has square balusters linked by arches. Raised band below parapet. An earlier bridge was built by Elmes family of Lilford Hall (q.v.), recorded as having 10 arches.

{2} Early C19th limestone ashlar bridge. Parapet with square balusters. Probably built for Lord Lilford.

{3} View of bridge from river bank [check this, as source too early - should relate to earlier bridge Mon 8011/1/1?].

{5} Bridge over River Nene. Stone-built with eliptical arch, built in 1796 after the floods of 1795.

{6} The Nene is spanned by a handsome stone bridge with fluted pilasters, erected a short distance from Lilford Hall in 1796.
