Description
Shown as Post Office on Ordnance Survey map. House. C17 altered C19. Squared coursed limestone, part rendered, with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2-window range of 2 storey canted bay windows with C19 casements. C20 door under reconstituted stone lintel. Ashlar gable parapet to left and ashlar end stack with moulded cornice. Shared brick and stone stack to right. Left gable has one 2-light stone mullion window, now blocked. C19 lean-to extension to rear. Interior not inspected but noted as having spine beam. Used for a time as the Cross Keys Public House. Included for group value.
