Description

3 houses now 2 dwellings. C17 and C19 part restored C20. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roofs. Originally probably 2 C17 single-unit plans and one C19 single-unit plan. Part single storey, with attic, and part 2 storey. 3 bays. Centre bay is probably earliest origin with central C19 casement under wood lintel, originally a door. Bay to right is C17 with one-window range of 2-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion windows. Bay to left is a C19 one-window range of C19 casements, under shallow stone arch at ground floor. 4-panel door, to right of window, is under similar head. Centre bay is of single storey with attic, flanking bays are 2-storey. Brick and stone stacks at ends and at abutment. Rear elevation has 2 eaves dormers to centre. C20 casement windows to left and plank door, to right, under wood lintels. Interior of No. 14 noted as having chamfered spine beams and probably has open fireplace, now blocked.
