Description

Gatearch. C17. Limestone ashlar and brick. Square plan. 2 storeys. 2 semi-circular archways with plain springers and keyblocks. Blank upper storey with moulded string course. South face of upper storey has central cartouche, small flanking shields and C20 plaque. No floor or roof structures. Upper storey is part brick-lined internally. Originally gateway to the former Clopton Hall.
