Description

House, possibly former hunting lodge. Mid C18, altered C20. Coursed squared limestone, half-hipped slate roof, stone end and ridge stacks on brick bases. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Main front to south has central C20 door with moulded wood surround and wood lintel in C20 gabled porch. 12-pane horned sash windows with flat-arched heads and key blocks. Plinth, ironstone quoins, storey band, moulded wood eaves and ironstone-coped gable to left with kneelers. Wing to rear right has 2-light casement windows to garden side with wood lintels. Interior noted as having chamfered spine beams and dog-leg stair with turned balusters.
