Description
House. C17 origins and C19. Squared coursed limestone with thatch roof. Originally 2-unit, now 3-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 3-window range of C20 casements, with glazing bars, under original wood lintels. 2 similar casements, to attic, under eyebrow dormers to centre and right. Centre dormer has pointed head. Ground floor centre window was originally a door. Stone stacks at ends. Evidence to 2 builds to centre of range. Entrance in C20 single storey extension to rear. Interior has remains of open fireplace with bressumer and said to have some old roof structure. (RCHM: An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire: p40)
