Summary
A 17th century house with 19th century alterations and a 20th century extension to the rear is situated on the western side of the High Street. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a double pitch thatch roof with chimney stacks at the gables. It is single story with an attic range lit by two eaves dormer windows under square heads and a slightly lower central dormer with a pointed head. The road facing facade originally had a central entrance doorway that is now half blocked with a two light casement inserted into the upper section. Two similar three light casements under wooden lintels flank the blocked door. The entrance is now located in the extension to the rear.

Full Description
{1} House. C17 origins and C19. Squared coursed limestone with thatch roof. Originally 2-unit, now 3-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 3-window range of C20 casements, with glazing bars, under original wood lintels. 2 similar casements, to attic, under eyebrow dormers to centre and right. Centre dormer has pointed head. Ground floor centre window was originally a door. Stone stacks at ends. Evidence to 2 builds to centre of range. Entrance in C20 single storey extension to rear. Interior has remains of open fireplace with bressumer and said to have some old roof structure.
