Description
Base and part of shaft of cross. Said to be Saxon. Ironstone. Irregular square base and stump of shaft weathered and moss encrusted. Noted in the "Buildings of England" as Saxon, and having shaft with some simple decoration. This part of the shaft is now missing. (Buildings of England: Northamptonshire, p.307).
