Description
House. Late C17. Coursed squared ironstone, plain tile roof, brick end and ridge stacks. 2-unit lobby entry plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. C20 door and porch to left of centre with 2-light casement, replacing mullion, to left with stone surround, (broken away to right side) and hood mould, a 3-light casement, replacing mullion, to right with moulded stone jambs, stop-chamfered lintel and hood mould. First floor has small central blocked window, a one-light casement over door and 2-light casements to left and right, all with timber lintels, except for that to right which has stone lintel of former small 2-light stone mullioned window. 2-storey outshut to rear. Quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. C20 single-storey extensions to left and right. Interior has open fireplace with cambered chamfered bressumer, stop-chamfered spine beams and stone-flagged floor.
