Description

Bank. Mid C19. Limestone and granite ashlar with slate roof. Ground floor banking hall. 3 storeys; 5-window range of sashes to first and second floor. Ground floor has 3 large windows, centre partly blocked: flanked to left and right by C19 panelled doors. All ground floor openings have large granite pilasters between with chamfered and moulded surrounds with foliated capitals and roundels above. First and second floor sash windows have moulded stone heads; those at first floor have decorated panels above linked by a moulded stone string course. Moulded stone cornices, rendered parapet above. Stacks not visible. Interior: banking hall has large moulded ceiling beams.
