Description
House, formerly 3 cottages. Late C17, altered C20. Coursed squared limestone, banded with ironstone, slate roof, brick end and ridge stacks. 3 units. 2-storeys and attic; 4-window range. Gable end facing Station Road has 6-panel part-glazed door to right in C20 porch. 2-light casement windows to ground, 1st and attic floors all with wood lintels. Large rectangular limestone sundial to gable. Front to left, of 4 bays, has C20 door to left of centre with wood lintel and 2-light casements to ground and 1st floors with wood lintels, except for C20 ground floor central 4-light window. Blocked circular windows to left end gable with limestone surrounds. Quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Interior has chamfered spine beams, some with ogee stops, and large open fireplace with ogee stop-chamfered bressumer and smoke cupboards either side.
