Description

{1} A trial trench at the west side of site revealed the footings of former industrial buildings of c1925, plus the truncated remains of a post-medieval boundary along a former stream edge. No medieval layers were found, as had been expected. It was thought that the strata here are deep enough that any medieval archaeology will not be affected by construction on the site.
