Description
{3} Controlled archaeological excavation and a wider watching brief were undertaken for Pioneer Aggregates (UK) Ltd in part of their Wollaston gravel pit. The organic, peat-like fill of its outer ditch was was extensively sampled for scientific study by Leicester University. No report available;
