Description

{1} In August 2001 a survey was undertaken of the 19th century farm buildings at Appletree Farm, Aston-le-Walls, near Daventry, Northants, prior to conversion for commercial (office) use. The farmhouse, dovecote and an isolated cart shed were excluded from the survey, as they were not affected by the scheme. The present buildings, grouped around a square yard, represented a typical planned farm of the Victorian High Farming period, and date from the 1870’s. Site code: DAF01
