Description

{1} Prominent earthworks comprise former spring feed ponds with feeder channels and outflow channels and a more recently constructed spring head. There is also a disused brick-lined well. Raised platforms may be house platforms, but could be related to the springs. The Ordnance Survey refers to an area immediately west as the source of the River Welland.
