Description

Six areas within the grounds of Apethorpe hall were investigated. Only limited areas of archaeological activity have been defiend, however, a concentration has been noted within the walled garden. Activity associated with the use of the hall has been recorded including the probable position of fruit trees, details of the walled kitchen garden, a path or drive and the line of the original drive.
