Description
The groundworks were monitored between the 19th and 25th of September 2000. The topsoil was revealed by initial clearing of the rubbish, trees and existing structures from the site. Much of the western part of the construction plot was covered by rubble from the driveway and footings of the garages which formerly occupied the site. The topsoil was then machined away under archaeological supervision.
