Description

{1} The trial trenching aim was to identify and adequately characterise any surviving archaeological features or deposits, and to encompass at least 1% of the proposed mineral extraction area. The forty-eight trenches excavated revealed sparse archaeological features, principally comprising the eastern continuation of a pit alignment which extends into the extreme edge of the application site only.
