Description
Excavation area was based on a suite of preceding surveys. Limited excavation was undertaken in order to determine the form, function and date of features. A Saxon hall and associated features were identified. Four periods were identified but the scarce finds made it difficult to accurately date the site. Five seasons of excavation were undertaken [specific years not known; not published]
