Description

{1} Archaeological excavation at Covert Farm (DIRFT East) between August 1997 and June 1998. This site forms part of the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal development near Crick, Northamptonshire. The Iron Age settlement, covering 12 ha and containing c.90 structures, appearsto have been a seasonal occupation of land prone to winter flooding.
