Description

{1} Archaeological evaluation undertaken as part of a Time Team episode. A total of eleven trenches were excavated with the aim of defining the limit of a medieval cemetery and locating the associated church, as well as refining the form and date of the deserted medieval settlement. All but the southern limit of the cemetery was defined, although the location of the church was not proven. No more precise dating for the medieval settlement was recovered. Some structural evidence was observed.
