Description
{1} An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during ground-works associated with the laying of a new water pipeline by Anglian Water between Raunds and Newton Bromswold. Throughout the northern section undisturbed stratigraphy was revealed across most of the watching brief area, although extensive modern truncation had taken place at the northern terminus of the route. No archaeological deposits were present and no artefacts were recovered.
