Description

{1} An archaeological evaluation was undertaken of Blocks 2 and 3, Zone 1, Priors Hall, Corby, Northamptonshire, as part of a detailed planning application for mixed-use development of the site. Recent excavations in the southeastern part of Zone 1 have identified probable Iron Age to Romano-British industrial activity in the form of iron working along with settlement. A total of 46 trenches were excavated under archaeological supervision. Only eight identified any archaeological remains.
