Description

Stratascan were commissioned by Archaeological Solutions to undertake a geophysical survey of an area outlined for development as a processing plant. The geophysical survey undertaken over 5ha of agricultural land at the Elton Estate, Warmington has been successful in locating a number of anomalies that may be of archaeological origin. A number of anomalies match the characteristics of features evident in the SMR map provided by the client. Discrete positive anomalies may indicate the presence of possible pits.
