Full Description

{1} Ditch F1003 was 63 x 0.9 x 0.33m, curvilinear in plan and aligned north east south west. It had moderately steep sides and a small concave base. It contained flat angular limestone pices and a piece of worked stone but no finds. Ditch F1007 was 63 x 1.55 x 0.36m, also curvilinear in plan and aligned south east north west. It had stepped vertical and horizontal sides and a concave base which tapered to a point to the north east. Its fill contained flat angular limestone but no finds. Ditch F1007 was the return of Ditch F1003, forming a circular ditch as seen on the crop mark analysis.

{2} The continuation of this ditch was seen in the later excavations.
