Description
{4} In April 1993 Northamptonshire Archaeology were commissioned by English Heritage to undertake a fieldwalking survey of the villa site and the surrounding area. The aims of the project were to establish the extent of the settlement around the villa, and discern any internal patterning within the villa itself. The fields to the north-west of the villa were unavailable for walking as they were in set-aside.
