{2} A combined service trench (c. 90m) was mechanically excavated from the mid point of the north aisle, around the west end of the church and then eastwards along the southern side of the churchyard, to the entrance on to Roade Hill. It recorded modern service trenches and burials, and the remains of a robbed-out possible pre-1900 churchyard boundary wall.
