Description

{1} In order to level up the area at the end of Runway 3, an area of topsoil was stripped and the ground level increased by the importation of inert waste soil. A watching brief was maintained during the initial topsoil strip. No archaeological remains were observed. Thirteen pieces of unstratified prehistoric worked flint were collected.
