Description

{1} The trial trenching identified two areas of archaeology. These trenches clearly identified previous settlement in the form of archaeological features. The pottery and finds recovered from the features suggests rural domestic occupation in the Iron Age to mid Roman period with a possibility of activity in the late Neolithic/early Bronze Age, indicated by the recovery of lfints.
