Description

{1} A total of 110 trial trenches were excavated between Empingham, Rutland and Corby, Northamptonshire, in archaeological mitigation for the first stage of construction of a new Anglian Water mains pipeline. Twenty-two of the trenches were located within Northants. Only three undated features, in three separate trenches, were identified.
