Description
{1} An archaeological evaluation comprising seven trial trenches was undertaken on land off Paddock Close. Woodford. The evaluation followed on from an earlier geophysical and fieldwalking survey which had suggested the presence of Iron Age features on the eastern edge of the development area. The evaluation identified ditches and other features of probable Middle/ Late Iron Age date. Site code: WK10.
