Description

In July 2013, an archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology, on behalf of Morton Wykes Kramer LLP acting for East Midlands Housing Association, on land at Kettering Road, Walgrave, Northamptonshire. The works identified an entranceway to a possible ditched enclosure of pre-medieval date. The site was traversed by remnant furrows of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation.
