Description

{1} The investigations revealed a sequence of natural deposits overlain by a former topsoil, a subsoil and an area of made ground. A dumped deposit of mortar was also revealed but remains undated due to a lack of artefactual material. Finds retrieved during the investigation include a single sherd of medieval pottery along with later post-medieval pottery and glass.
